2015-04-16 Based on L. S. Vygotsky's sociocultural theory, previous scaffolding studies have examined some factors associated with adjustment of parental support during collaborative problem solving. To fulfill this theoretical function, the author approaches the issue through Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), complemented by educational studies’ scaffolding theory.
